Special Needs Program

The Special Needs Program provides information and support for parents and providers caring for children who experience challenges in typical child care settings. Our goal is to help children be successful in quality child care environments.

Child care providers can receive the these services:

  • Information about a specific disability or behavioral issue
  • Information and support in working with families
  • Hands-on interaction with the individual child in your child care setting
  • Phone support and problem solving
  • Training tailored to the child's or provider's specific needs
